Staff involved in teaching and learning are invited to attend a half-day symposium on Wednesday 19 January from 9.45 am to 12.45 pm, to discuss current and future student assessment needs. The event will be an opportunity to showcase existing best practices within the University and identify future assessment requirements.
The Pedagogic Revolution was launched two years ago by Kelly Coate, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education and Students. Since then, hundreds of teaching staff, senior management and professional services have come together to explore subjects such as:
- understanding Gen Z
- technology that supports inclusive learning
- decolonising the curriculum
- TED-style talks
- outdoor learning
- the shift to online and blended learning due to the pandemic and its impact on teaching practices.
This next event aims to capture feedback from students and staff on current assessment processes and set clear goals for the curriculum review next semester.
The Pedagogic Revolution is a key workstream within the University's Learn to Transform strategy. Join the conversation!
