Earlier this month, the University's updated its central research management system, Elements. There have been some significant changes to the look and feel of the system that will benefit user experience right away, as well as some background developments that will enable the implementation of changes that Sussex users have requested.
All Sussex researchers have an Elements profile. It’s your public facing University profile where you can share information about your research, scholarship, and teaching. For doctoral researchers, this profile is automatically set to private, but it can easily be made public.
What's different?
-
Refreshed landing page on Elements log in, with improved menu navigability
-
Journal metadata now includes the Publisher name where available
-
Streamlined reporting menu for administrative staff
-
Significant improvements for all search engines, making profiles more easily discoverable
-
Rewording the options in Professional Activities to meet the needs of the Sussex community
-
Pre-prints data sources and workflows
-
SDG label scheme availability for tagging publications
