Brighton and Sussex Medical School’s Annual Christmas Lecture
Friday 13 December 18:00 until 20:00
Chowen Lecture Theatre, BSMS Medical Teaching Building, University of Sussex, Falmer, BN1 9PX

Are you curious about tropical disease and global health? How about understanding infection in different parts of the world? Or, have you ever considered becoming a doctor in the future? Join Brighton & Sussex Medical School (BSMS) for their Annual Christmas Lecture, created for KS2 & KS3 students to discover more about global health, and the challenges of living in or travelling to other parts of the world.
This festively themed lecture has been designed for students aged 8-14 to be both entertaining and educational. Alongside an interactive lecture, there will be various stalls set up in the foyer where there will be the opportunity to handle real medical equipment with the help of our current medical students.
Please note, this is a free event, however we are raising money for the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, Rockinghorse. If you wish to make a donation to Rockinghorse Children's Charity you can do so using the following link:

The lecture itself will be taking place from 6:30pm until 7:30pm, with time beforehand and afterwards to visit the stalls in the foyer and enjoy festive refreshments.
