Professor Clare Mackie, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Teaching and Learning), presents the annual University of Sussex Vice-Chancellor's Award to West Dean College student Rachel Sawicki

Professor Clare Mackie, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Teaching and Learning), attended West Dean College on Saturday (10 July) to present an award to an outstanding MA student.

At the Awards  Day event, Professor Mackie presented the annual University of Sussex Vice-Chancellor's Award to Rachel Sawicki. She completed an MA in Conservation Studies at West Dean College in September 2009, specialising in the Conservation of Books and Library Materials.

West Dean is a privately funded, world renowned College for higher education in a range of specialist disciplines in visual arts, making and conservation. The University validates its Graduate, Postgraduate, MA/MFAs and PhD awards.
