Paul Bowen QC
Paul Bowen QC is a barrister at Doughty Street Chambers specialising in public law and human rights, with a particular interest in cases involving serious medical treatment, the right of autonomy and the right to life. He acted for Debbie Purdy in her successful challenge to the DPP's policy on assisted suicide prosecutions in 2008 and is currently representing Paul Lamb and the family of Tony Nicklinson in their current challenge to existing assisted suicide laws, which is to be heard by the Supreme Court in December.
