Laura's research intertests include;

• conflict and crisis, recovery,
• intersections of health and environment,
• spiritual landscapes and ecologies, cosmopolitics, animism,
• reproduction, reproductive justice, environmental reproductive justice,
• indigenisation/decolonisation of health education, training and literacy
• collaboration and partnernships, participatory action research,
• journalism, radio and audio methods.

She is particularly interested in the regions of Southeast Asia, the Pacific, and Europe.
