Job description

The Sussex Artificial Intelligence Institute is a transnational education partnership (TNE) between the School of Engineering and Informatics at the University of Sussex and Zhejiang Gongshang University, China.  Established in 2020, the institute offers four undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.  The teaching, curriculum, regulations and student support are jointly designed and shared between the two universities.  The School of Media, Arts and Humanities is now part of this partnership and is responsible for developing and delivering bespoke English for Specific Academic Purposes modules (ESAP).

We are currently seeking a dedicated Lecturer in English for Specific Academic Purposes to join our team. You should be a collaborative and highly organized individual looking for a unique opportunity to contribute to the ongoing curriculum development and delivery of bespoke ESAP courses. In addition to shaping the language learning experiences of our students, you will also play a vital role in planning and implementing a tailor-made teacher training program for ZJSU staff as part of our TNE partnership. This full-time, permanent position requires a collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for academic excellence. If you have recent and substantial EAP teaching experience, proficiency in e-learning platforms such as Canvas, and a passion for education, we invite you to apply.
