Dissertation option 1: Media Project (016P3)

With guidance from your supervisor, you will design and execute a media project relevant to development and social change.

Accompanying the project, you will also provide a written critical self-reflection on the process and outcomes. This will include a relevant bibliography of relevant media and scholarly sources and demonstrate your critical evaluation of the production process and engagement with relevant scholarship. The size and format of the media project needs to be agreed with your supervisor.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2024/25. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum. We’ll make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
