This scholarship is for undergraduate students in their second or third year of an Engineering (or related) subject (see full list of eligible subjects in the eligibility section), graduating in 2020. Offered to students at both the University of Sussex and University of Brighton, the four best applicants across both universities will be selected. What you get
The successful scholars will receive:
£10,000 living costs for your final year
3 month paid placement within the Paxton Research Team, prior to your final year of study
Weekly access to Paxton resources and facilities to complete your final year project
Potential permanent position at the end of your course
The living costs are paid in equal monthly instalments in your final year, so you must ensure you have provided the University with up to date bank details. Your final year project is decided alongside your Course Leader and Paxton.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
be finishing your degree course in 2020
be prepared to attend the Paxton offices at least 1 day per week in your final year
be prepared to become a brand ambassador for Paxton, to promote the scholarship for the following year’s intake

How to apply
To be considered for the scholarship, students must attend the Paxton Scholarship Open Day on 9 November 2018. It will not be possible to apply for the scholarship without attending the open day.
Following the open day, students will need to complete an application form. Students are then selected for a group assessment and an interview two weeks after the application closing date.
