On this module you’ll focus on current issues in conservation and conservation biology.

Topics include:

  • intensive farming practices
  • rewilding projects
  • national parks and protected areas
  • invasive species
  • issues in marine conservation.

You'll strengthen your critical thinking from integrating material from multiple sources and develop written, oral and graphic communication skills.

Seminars will highlight presentations on current issues by students working in groups and will be connected to individual assessments.

  • Critically evaluate and communicate current conservation science methodologies and data to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
