This module is for students on BA Digital Media and Culture.

The module will prepare you for your final year projects and dissertations. It supports the development of your final year work through a series of workshops that address the different strands of the degree, including critical theory, digital methods and creative practice.

Module learning outcomes

  • Systematically identify the key objectives and requirements for their final year project or dissertation.
  • Determine in detail how the concepts and techniques that they have acquired through the taught components of the course will be applied to their projects
  • Manage and plan the development and implementation of their research project / dissertation
  • Critically assess key aspects and limitations of the methods or approaches used in their project in a coherent and detailed manner.
  • Appreciate the critical, social and ethical significance of the research they are planning to undertake.
