Spring teaching

On this module, you’ll focus on key elements of career preparation. You’ll explore the value of gaining practical experience and build the skills needed to secure opportunities. This includes placement years, summer internships, or other relevant roles.

In addition, you’ll gain access to a professional network of students, mentors, career advisors and industry experts. You’ll also benefit from the range of resources and support offered by our Careers and Entrepreneurship team.

  • job search
  • CV and application success
  • interview and assessment centre preparation
  • how to build a professional presence
  • experiential learning (real-world) opportunity
  • getting ready and making the most of your experience.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
