You are not eligible for this scholarship if you already have another Sussex scholarship such as the Chancellors Masters Scholarship or Sussex Graduate Scholarship)
You are also not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study the following courses:
Postgraduate diplomas (including CPE Common Professional Examination)
Corruption, Law and Governance LLM (delivered in Qatar)
Development Studies MA
Early Years in Education MA
Globalisation, Business and Development MA
Governance, Development and Public Policy MA
Power, Participation and Social Change MA
Poverty and Development MA
Masters degrees in Social Work (if receiving a NHS bursary)
Schools direct teaching courses
any Masters funded by the research councils (such as if you receive ESRC 1+3 funding)

How to apply
To apply for the scholarship, please submit a two page statement of intent/motivation letter indicating which Masters course you have received an offer for, along with an up to date AUW transcript, to the International Programmes Board. These should be addressed to Dr Dave Dowland, University Registrar and uploaded via this link.
To be considered for the scholarship, you will need to have accepted an offer of a place on an eligible Masters course. Apply for a Masters at Sussex at www.sussex.ac.uk/study/masters/apply.
The Sussex Scholarship Program for AUW graduates is the outcome of a successful partnership between the two institutions, aiming to promote co-operation in academic programs, including joint teaching, facilitation of staff and student exchanges and opportunities for AUW students to gain scholarships for further study at Sussex.
