All around the world governments have guidelines and laws to tackle this and our team uses its expertise to conduct the necessary scrutiny, as well as working with governments to advise on the strongest possible protections against corruption.

International investors

Robert Barrington was the technical advisor for the International Corporate Governance Network's Guidance on Anti-Corruption Practices, published in 2020 and providing advice for institutional investors in 45 countries representing $54 trillion.

World Economic Forum

Robert Barrington was appointed to the WEF's Global Futures Council to advise on corruption and governance and curated a Corruption Transformation Map.

Lawyers: gatekeepers, technicians or enablers?

Robert Barrington and Georgia Garrod have led work engaging the legal profession on the issue of professional ethics, supported by OSF and the FCDO's GI ACE programme.  As well as publications in journals such as Legal Ethics, we have collaborated with Spotlight on Corruption and helped to convene the Taskforce on Business Ethics and the Legal Profession.
