Sussex Uni Food pop-up brings Croatian Ćevapi to campus
Friday 24 May 12:00 until 17:00
University of Sussex Campus : Bramber House lawns
Tag along with us for a global culinary journey as Sussex students spice up the campus with a food takeover!
As part of a competition Sussex Uni Food ran earlier this term, our students suggested dishes from their home countries for our talented chefs to cook.
This resulted in three winning recipes from Croatia, Nigeria, and Brazil. These rich dishes, priced at just £3, will star in campus pop-up lunches throughout May, named after our student winners.
Join us on Thursday 23 or Friday 24 May at Bramber House lawns from 12pm (until sold out) for Ćevapi or Ćevapčići – Balkan grilled minced-sausages, packed with aromatic spices and served with sides.
This initiative isn't just about food; it's a celebration of diversity, a platform for students to proudly showcase their heritage through the universal language of cuisine.
Follow Sussex Uni Food on Instagram for more tasty adventures and keep up-to-date with information on upcoming takeovers and all things food!
