Love your life after uni

The careers service will be providing four days of careers events next week designed to help you succeed after Sussex.

The events, taking place from Monday 23 – Thursday 26 May, aims to enhance the employability of all students - particularly those leaving Sussex this summer - whilst raising awareness of the careers services.

The four-day event has been called 'Love your life.. after uni'   and will include a four-day extravaganza of events, employers, competitions, and ofcourse cakes to help you succeed after Sussex.

 The event will also see:

• A marquee in Library Square with cupcakes, competitions, pop up careers advice and ‘top tips in 10 mins’ sessions covering CVs, Interviews and Job Search.   
• Monday will see a drop in on the Paid internships on offer exclusively to Sussex students and recent graduates
• Postgraduate Recruitment arrives on Tuesday for an information drop-in about this year’s scholarships offer.
• A mini careers fair with employers still offering graduate opportunities will be taking place on Wednesday 25 including IBM, PwC, West Pier Studio, Think Ahead, Brandwatch. Many also have vacation and part-time roles on offer and so this would be relevant to students from other years.  Ther fair will be taking place from 12 – 3pm in Library square, or Meeting House/Marquee if wet!
• On Thursday students will be offered the chance to develop/enhance their leadership skills at a renowned Leadership Training Day with an external trainer who’s run a successful Learning to Lead programme over the past 5 years
