Job description

The School of Engineering and Informatics is looking to recruit a Senior Platforms & Infrastructure Engineer who will take responsibility to develop, build, install, integrate, test, maintaining, and debug technical platforms and infrastructure services that underpin the School’s research applications.

  • As ITS specialist in specific technology area(s), they will lead the technical design and implementation of new services and changes to existing platforms and infrastructure services.  A particular concentration will be on Cloud and Accelerator platforms such as GPU provision. 
  • Lead in the provision of expert advice and insight within the relevant specialist area to help to address problems, make recommendations, and propose improvements to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
