Biography

Prior to joining SPRU, he has been working as a researcher on establishing planning and strategies for promoting Korean health-related industries in Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) under the Ministry of Health and Welfare since 2012. Also, he had worked for several years as a researcher in both National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) and Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM), respectively.

His current research looks at how strategic motives, which are contingence on diverse internal and external factors such as transaction costs, strategic resources and institutions, influence the development of differen collaborative structures, and how these collaborative structures affect innovative performance in public R&D projects of the digital healthcare sector.
