UKTPO publishes analysis of trade policy in 2017 General Election manifestos

Fellows of the UK Trade Policy Observatory (UKTPO) have collaborated on a series of blog posts reviewing what the main political parties say about trade policy in their 2017 General Election manifestos.

The authors have established a set of key issues that they believe should be considered for the UK's future trade policy. They review the stance of six party manifestos on trade within the EU, internationally and domestically, as well as on the multilateral trading system.

The UKTPO was established in 2016 to offer independent advice to assist the UK Government, industry and public in addressing the critical international trade challenges posed by the country's exit from the European Union.
