Covid-19 update

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, we have changed the way we deliver our courses. Currently, the UK is under national lockdown and all students learn remotely.

Sussex is planning to resume face-to-face teaching in September 2021 and to welcome students to our beautiful campus.

We are continuing to monitor the situation and, in the meantime, you can check the latest updates on our Coronavirus: Advice for applicants’ page.

English language courses

You can choose from a selection of courses to improve your English language skills.

Pre-sessional English

This year, Pre-sessional English has been replaced with two online courses:

  • 16-week online Pre-sessional English (May to August 2021)
  • 8-week online Pre-sessional English (July to August 2021).

Our online courses have been developed with the expertise of our Technology Enhanced Learning specialists to ensure that you receive the same high level of flexible, tailored English learning support that you would receive in-person, but from the comfort of your own home.

Find out more about how the online course will be delivered.

Summer at Sussex and Intensive English courses

We are looking carefully at plans for the Summer at Sussex and Intensive English courses. We hope to be able to provide our international partners and agents with details of the courses soon.

Student life

Our single-site campus is home to great facilities in a stunning location. You’ll find all you need from shops, a medical centre, sports centres and cafes.
