The Creative Technology research group welcomes research application proposals from prospective PhD candidates. If you are interested in joining the research group, you should first develop a research proposal that fits within the broad research interests of the group, and more specifically the research interests of the academic faculty who you might wish to act as a supervisors. You can contact academic faculty directly in the people tab to see if their research interests align with yours. Often a dialogue with a potential academic supervisor will reveal other research strands you could follow or give a twist to your idea. You should also note that you will always be supervised by more than one academic, so it is worth investigating what research areas lie between or across different disciplines.
