Family Fun Day 2026
Current and future University of Sussex students and staff with families are invited to attend a free Family Fun Day on campus. Please reserve your free ticket here.
Date: Friday 10th April
Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm
Location: The Student Centre Woodland Rooms, University of Sussex
This event provides an opportunity for student and staff parents to meet others, relax, and enjoy a range of activities with their children. Activities are most suitable for primary school-aged children, although all are welcome.
Activities include:
- Tea party-style lunch
- Campus Easter hunt
- Arts, crafts, and colouring
- Mini graduation caps and gowns
- Games, Lego, Duplo, and giant Jenga
- Switch tournament
- Sensory room
Eligibility: This event is open to current and prospective University of Sussex students who are parents, and University of Sussex staff with families. It is not an open day and is not open to the public or to students without children.
Important information:
- Children must be supervised at all times
- The event space has step-free access and accessible toilet facilities
- A microwave is available on request for baby food
- Please keep noise to a minimum in shared areas of the Student Centre
Additional information: Student parents are welcome to attend without children. Prospective students who are parents are also welcome to attend for an informal introduction to the University environment.
Travel: The campus is accessible via Brighton & Hove bus routes 25, 28/29, and some 5Bs, and Falmer train station. Parking is available on request; please indicate this when booking so that a permit can be arranged.
