Entry requirements and application information

• Undergraduate entry requirements

  Undergraduate Foundation Year

  Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Trung Học Phổ Thông (THPT) – Senior Secondary School Graduation Diploma

  Applicants with this qualification are invited to apply for our international foundation year – please refer to the International Study Centre for the relevant foundation year entry criteria.

  Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Trung Cấp Nghề – Vocational Intermediate Diploma

  Applicants with good grades in this qualification may be considered for entry to a foundation year.

  Additional subject-specific requirements may apply depending on the undergraduate course you are applying for.

  Undergraduate Year 1

  Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Cao Đẳng – College Diploma/Associate degree

  Entry into Year 1 requires a minimum overall grade of 7/10.

  Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Đại Học – Bachelor Degree

  Two years of study with grades 7/10 would be considered for Year 1 entry.

  Undergraduate Year 2

  Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Đại Học – Bachelor Degree

  Applicants with this qualification from a recognised university would be considered for advanced standing on a case-by-case basis.

  English language entry requirements 

  Typical offers for undergraduate and foundation year courses include a standard overall IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the four components.

• Masters entry requirements

  Academic entry requirements

  A Bachelor’s degree is required (with a graduate thesis/research component) with a minimum CGPA of at least 2.5/4.0 or 6.5/10 depending on your chosen Masters course.

  As evidence of completing your degree, you must provide proof of graduation in addition to your transcript.

  Additional subject-specific requirements may apply based on the postgraduate program you are applying for. These entry requirements are intended as guidelines. If you have questions about your qualifications or if they are not listed here, please feel free to contact us.

  English language entry requirements 

  Typical offers for a Masters course include a standard overall IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the four components.

• PhD entry requirements

  Academic entry requirements

  A Bachelor’s degree is required (with a Graduate Thesis/research component) with a minimum overall grade of cGPA of at least 3.0/4.0 or 7.0/10 in a subject relevant to your chosen PhD course.

  As evidence of completing your degree, you must provide proof of graduation in addition to your transcript.

  However, if you do not meet the academic requirements, you may still be considered for the degree if you can provide evidence of extensive work experience in a related field.

• the Buddy Scheme, which matches new students with current students based on your interests and includes activities and trips
• the Language Café, where you take part in language exchange sessions and other activities
