Sussex Access Summer School: 16-19 July 2024

Our summer school is for students that are in their first year at college/sixth form studying A Levels, BTECs, T Levels and other Level 3 qualifications. You’ll have the chance to experience student life on our beautiful campus.

You’ll study a subject of your choice delivered by our academics. Throughout the summer school, you will work independently or in small groups on a university-level poster.

Alongside the academic programme, you will attend a variety of fun and informative lectures and workshops. You’ll find out about careers relating to your chosen subject, including a visit to a local industry. You’ll also get to meet current Sussex students studying a wide variety of courses.

You will stay for three nights in university accommodation, sharing a flat with other students on the summer school. Our social programme includes a sports and societies evening, bowling and fun activities in our Student Union.

Travel, accommodation, food and activities are all included for free.

The Sussex Access Summer School will take place between Tuesday 16 and Friday 19 July 2024.

Applying for the University of Sussex Summer School does not guarantee you a place. It is subject to email confirmation from the Sussex Access Summer School team.

The deadline for applications is Sunday 19 May 2024.

You will be notified of the outcome of your application on the week commencing Monday 20 May 2024.
