The blog is edited by SCMR members, Dr Sarah Scuzzarello and Dr Ali Ali.

The blog posts are divided into three broad themes.

• Migration Comments present our researchers’ considered, evidence‑based responses to current events.
• Migration Research showcases the latest research and publications by SCMR affiliated researchers. Here we also invite the editors of Special Issues recently published in JEMS to summarise their research.
• Academic Life is a theme that includes posts about life in academia, with particular attention to responding to the SCMR community of doctoral and early career researchers’ needs and queries.
