Don’t miss out on the latest news and events from campus

Keep in touch with all things Sussex by:

  • following us on our alumni Instagram and Facebook pages
  • reading our bi-monthly newsletter. As a new member of the alumni community, you will start receiving your bi-monthly newsletter from us. If you haven’t received this, you can sign up here
  • letting us know if your email or postal address has changed from when you graduated, so we can make sure we send you the most relevant invitations to exclusive events. You don’t want to miss connecting with fellow alumni at networking events, alumni masterclasses and academic lectures on a wide range of subjects.

Staying involved in Sussex life

Every year we're grateful to all the recent graduates who volunteer their time back to their Sussex community, both in the UK and overseas.

Even if you’ve just left Sussex, there are several ways you can stay involved, you can:

  • come and speak at our Sussex events. Help inspire current students or your fellow alumni by discussing how your experiences at Sussex impacted you and your career journey. Sign up to Sussex Connect and tick that you are willing to ‘speak at events’ on your profile so we know you want to get involved. You can also reach to us at alumni@sussex.ac.uk
  • if you're living overseas, sign up to be an Alumni Consul and get involved in local meet ups and be a contact point for prospective students as well as other alumni
  • sign up to be a mentor or mentee through Sussex Connect. Every year we run our annual Global Mentoring Programme (which is announced through the platform) which gives our community the opportunity to be matched with an alumni mentor with support from the Alumni team. However, mentoring is also available to our community on the platform all year round.

There are other ways of giving back, too. The Sussex Fund provides vital support for students through scholarships, hardship awards, and initiatives that enhance the student experience for all, enabling students to flourish above and beyond their academic studies whilst at Sussex.
