Self-guided campus tours

Explore our campus in your own time by booking a self-guided tour.

What is a self-guided tour?

Our self-guided tours will allow you to visit campus alone or with others (adhering to current social distancing and Covid-19 guidelines), so you can get a taste of life at Sussex on a time and day that suits you. Through a unique app you will be guided around our picturesque campus on an audio tour. The tour will be voiced by our very own students, giving you an authentic experience.

To book your visit, select a date from the list below and then complete the registration form. If a date doesn’t appear in the list, that date has been fully booked and we have no more available space.

You will be emailed a confirmation of your tour and instructions on how to download the app. You'll also be directed to our webpage to access all the information you need to start the tour.

Note that our tour visiting hours will be between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

How we're staying Covid-safe

You will find QR codes on the entrance to all of our buildings. This is for NHS Track and Trace and only necessary in buildings which are entered. We recommend scanning the QR code where possible.

For our guests’ comfort and ease we are suggesting you take any breaks or refreshments in Bramber House, located centrally on campus. Here you will find ground level facilities including toilets and the Co-op.

Anyone entering our buildings are currently required to wear facemasks unless exempt for medical reasons.

Hand sanitiser stations are located at the entrance to all of our buildings – each entrance has them immediately available. We’d recommend using these when coming in and out of the buildings.

In the event of an emergency our security team is available 24/7 when onsite. You can either use the blue emergency phones located on campus to dial 3333 or call +44 (0)1273 873333

The route of the self-guided tour will follow the accessible pathways on campus. This route has been tested and should be accessible for wheelchair users and those requiring ease of access. Our self-guided route takes in our campus whilst admiring the building from the outside. Should you need to recharge there will be a stopping point on the ground floor of Bramber House, located on the centre of campus. Here you will find accessible facilities including toilets and the Co-op.
