Undergraduate Summer School

Choose from more than 30 modules this summer, designed, delivered and taught by our academics.

2022 update

We are currently in the process of updating our website to include all the relevant information that you will need to help you choose your module(s) and apply for Summer School 2022. The application process will open in January 2022, however, if you have any queries in the meantime please contact summer@sussex.ac.uk and we will do our best to help you.

Please note that most of the information that is currently on the Summer School web pages refer to last year’s cancelled summer school and is there to give you an illustration of what is likely to be offered for summer 2022, however, please do bear in mind that there may be some changes.

We are intending to run a full Summer School programme in July and August 2022, however, please note that the global Covid-19 pandemic has led to prolonged and unprecedented restrictions in all countries and the University continues to monitor UK Government advice.

Our curriculum

Our Undergraduate Summer School teaches over two sessions. You’ll study one module per session which lasts for three weeks. You can come for one or both sessions.

A module is a credit-bearing unit of study. Each module carries 15 Sussex credits. Find out more about the teaching structure, assessments and credits.
