Improving Social Recovery in Psychosis (ISRIP): A definitive randomised controlled trial and process evaluation of Social Recovery Therapy compared to treatment as usual for people with psychosis and severe social disability
What is the study about?
Those who have experienced psychosis sometimes struggle with activities e.g. work, school or leisure.
In this project, we are testing a talking therapy called Social Recovery Therapy (SRT). This therapy gives practical help and emotional support. It aims to build confidence, increase independence, and help people spend more time doing things that feel meaningful to them.
Who can take part?
- Those aged 18+.
- Who have experienced psychosis.
- Who are receiving support from mental health services.
- Who are not spending much time doing structured activities e.g. work, education, housework etc.
