About Active US
Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced athlete, Active US is here to help you move, have fun, and feel part of campus life.
Get involved in:
- social sessions – relaxed sport with no pressure
- weekly leagues friendly competition with fellow students.
Reasons to take part in Active US
Active US is all about participation, inclusivity and enjoyment. Sessions are:
- casual and commitment-free – join when you can
- beginner-friendly – no experience needed, all equipment provided
- affordable – sessions are just £2
- events – from halloween and Christmas specials, health weeks and one-off tournaments, to themed events like UV nights, Girls Takeover Week and One World Week
- collaborative – events are hosted in conjunction with the Engagement Team, ResLife and Sustainability Group among others
- across campus – from Falmer Sports Complex, Active Arches, Northfield basketball courts and Swanborough table tennis.
