Research Fellow in Global Studies at the University of Sussex. Her research explores gendered migration, care politics, and the evolving notions of home and belonging, with a focus on Javanese migrant domestic workers. She is a Postdoctoral Researcher with POWERE.

Indonesian feminist with a PhD in Sociocultural Anthropology from Binghamton University (State University of New York). Her research explores changing family dynamics, motherhood, women’s transnational migration, the anthropology of money, gendered labor, domestic work, and feminist ethnography.
