Mammal Communication and Cognition Research

We use innovative behavioural experiments to study communication and cognition in a wide diversity of mammals including elephants, chimpanzees, horses, cats, dogs and humans. Our research has revealed abilities in non-human animals previously thought to be uniquely human and contributed to improving animal welfare and conservation.
