Find out about our programme, aims and mission
The Sussex Sustainability Research Programme (SSRP) delivers interdisciplinary research to help achieve the global sustainability goals for humanity and the environment.
Our latest funding round has resulted in five interdisciplinary research projects which are well underway in helping to tackle global and local sustainability challenges – from integrating Public Health and conservation initiatives; creating sustainable land use systems in the South Downs; protecting the Rights of Nature; and exploring the relationships between biodiversity trends, subsistence poaching and socio-economic factors to pushing the boundaries in the area of menstrual health through inclusive environmenstrual action.
We have built a database allowing you to find potential collaborators on research projects and proposals.
Join SSRP researchers working on sustainable land use systems to coordinate wider regional action and help the South Coast become more sustainable
