Spring teaching
We live in an increasingly diverse, interconnected and multicultural world.
On this module, you’ll examine:
- the extant literature on cultural differences
- similarities in human thought and behaviour.
You’ll cover topics such as:
- self-concepts
- cognition
- motivation
- emotions.
You’ll explore different approaches to the study of cultural psychology and critically evaluate different research outcomes.
A key outcome of this module is to broaden your knowledge of different cultures and behaviours.
This module can be very relevant for your future career.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
