Autumn teaching
This module introduces key concepts and theories of drama, theatre and performance. You’ll explore fundamental debates about what drama, theatre and performance are, what their cultural and social value is, and how they link to politics and communities.
Key skills you’ll gain include:
- essay writing
- critical analysis
- academic composition
- developing scholarship.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
