Role

I am Boyang Shen, a full Professor at Tongji University, and a honorary full Professor at the University of Sussex. I am a UK Chartered Scientist (CSci), and a UK Chartered Engineer (CEng). I am a “World Top 2% Scientist”. I received my PhD from the University of Cambridge.I was a research associate at the University of Cambridge. I held a Research Fellowship (JRF) with Clare Hall, University of Cambridge. My research focuses on superconductivity, smart gird, multi-energy system, and high-speed maglev.

I have 200+ publications, including 190+ peer-reviewed journal articles (Science Citation Index, SCI), My publications have over 4900 citations, with h-index 40.

I am the Principal Investigator (PI) of 2 National Nature Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, and several other projects.
