We’re passionate about tackling the most pressing challenges in mental health research and treatment. Our mission is to translate our cutting-edge research into actionable insights that shape mental health policy and practice, ultimately improving the lives of individuals and communities.
Research areas
- lifespan mental health: developing and evaluating interventions across the evolution of mental ill-health, considering complexity and co-morbidity
- youth mental health: investigating the factors that predict transitions from health and well-being to mental ill-health, including mood and anxiety disorders and severe mental illness such as psychosis
- community impact: addressing intersections with physical health, burden, deprivation, and stigma within our local communities.
