COSHH Risk Assessor Training

This COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Risk Assessor course provides you with the skills and knowledge to be able to carry out a COSHH risk assessment. Following a training scenario, you will be taken through the University’s COSHH risk assessment process, applying what you learn as you progress through the session through the review of substance safety data sheets.
Objectives:
- Identify hazards presented by substances hazardous to health.
- Interpret a substance’s safety data sheet (SDS).
- Describe the steps of the University’s COSHH risk assessment process.
- Develop a COSHH risk assessment.
This course is suitable for those who are new to COSHH risk assessment, or would like to be reminded of the University’s COSHH risk assessment process.
