A winning combination

We‘re delighted to be the official Higher Education Partner of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club

The partnership presents opportunities for Sussex students and staff, and supports community initiatives across Brighton and the wider region.

It enables us to share expertise, knowledge and innovation with the Albion, with benefits for student recruitment, research and people in Brighton, Sussex and internationally.

We have a long history of collaboration with the Albion, dating back more than 30 years, and we continue to work with them on numerous initiatives.

These included the first Play with Pride football tournament in 2025, which brought together football clubs and local groups with a shared commitment to supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

The partnership reflects our shared goal of making a positive contribution to the communities we serve.

It also supports the ambitions of our Strategy 2035, which aims to create progressive futures through academic excellence, meaningful partnerships and positive impact, locally, nationally and globally.
