Practising Media, Film and Music (P5052)
15 credits, Level 3 (sub-degree)
Spring teaching
This module builds from the skills developed in Analysing Media, Film and Music. It adopts a thematic approach to explore concepts and subjects such as:
- representation
- ritual
- protest
- voice.
Equipped with the analytical toolkit you developed in the autumn semester, you’ll demonstrate your understanding and engagement – as well as your critical and creative thinking skills – through a variety of music, media and filmmaking practices.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
We’ll make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
