Digital Transformation and AI in Business (N1603)

Autumn teaching
On this module, you’ll explore digital transformation and its impact on organisations.
You’ll consider:
- how advanced digital technologies – such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, Internet of Things and robotics – can support and limit change
- how these tools shape organisations to create value for different stakeholders
- types of AI and their role in driving change for future business
- how digital transformation fits into business strategy and supports corporate sustainability.
You’ll develop a critical and practical skill set through case studies and hands-on workshops.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
