15 credits, Level 4
Spring teaching
This module is led by an experienced teacher and teacher-educator perspective. It takes:
- a practitioner-focused approach to developing understanding of diverse learners
- up-to-date, theory-informed pedagogic approaches to effectively fostering inclusive learning environments for all.
Through an exploration of narrative accounts of people with diverse needs, this module aims to ensure a deep understanding of the unique needs of individuals and the approaches used to develop inclusive environments. You’ll gain the skills – and the inclusive lens – needed for diverse education careers.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
We’ll make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
