Making Performance: Expanding Practice (Q3109)

Autumn teaching

On this module, you’ll work collaboratively with others to prepare for and realise a performance.

You’ll learn how to use performance to ask questions around social, aesthetic and political themes.

Through this work, you’ll develop skills in:

• thinking critically about the research process
• working collaboratively with others
• managing projects
• documenting and reflecting on work processes
• performing at a festival.

You’ll develop and present a final performance at the drama festival at the end of the academic year.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2024/25. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.

We’ll make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
