Making Performance: Expanding Practice (Q3109)

Autumn teaching

On this module, you’ll learn to work collaboratively and effectively with others. You’ll also expand your approaches to performance-making through different media. You’ll focus on:

  • generating new ideas
  • managing projects
  • structuring research and development
  • documenting and sharing your process.

The module puts emphasis on what it means to become a critically reflective performance maker. Key skills you’ll gain include:

  • collaborative practical working processes
  • developing complex ideas through research and practice
  • presenting and documenting working processes.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2023/24. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
