Biography

Rachael worked extensively for the BBC and BBC World Service before joining Sussex in 2012. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and teaches and convenes a number of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the School of Media, Film and Music. Her particular interests are in broadcast journalism and documentary: Journalism and media practice for development and social change; Documentary and Media Practice for conflict resolution; Role of Public Broadcasters in conflict reporting and humanitarian support programming.
