Research

My research interests lie in the field  of Internationnal Politics and History. I specialises in recent US foreign policy and have published two books on America’s role in international affairs. My current work arises from a  Leverhulme Foundation Major Fellowship on the US relations with Emerging Powers. I also work on British foreign policy and I recently completed a secondment at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office where my primary role was in analysis of the US/UK relationship. I also have research interests in domestic American Politics and have published a book on American race relations.
