Teaching

I am the Director of Teaching and Learning at the Institute of Development Studies.  As a first generation scholar myself, I'm always interested in supporting and promoting first generation students.  

I am also very interested in PhD supervision. I have supervised 11 PhD researchers to completion and currently am supervising 4 PhD researchers.  I'm interested in a wide range of topics and in working with young researchers, supporting them to write the PhDs that they want to write, and striving to bring out the best of their research.
