The Centre for Rights and Anti-Colonial Justice at Sussex is a new initiative formed of two long-standing research centres: the Sussex Rights and Justice Research Centre and the Centre for Colonial and Postcolonial Studies. The Centre research community pursues interdisciplinary research and intellectual exchange in the areas of the ethics and politics of (human) rights and justice, locating these in the histories and cultures of colonial modernity and the colonial present.
