Student Stop AIDS Campaign Speaker Tour

The event is an opportunity to meet two inspirational young people who are living with HIV and AIDS. This year our speakers include Beyonce Tushabe, a transgender woman from Uganda who works to speak out against the continued harassment and abuse transgender women face. We will hear how national and international AIDS policy affects them and other young people, and learn from their experiences and expertise. The young people speak not as victims, but as hopeful, determined and capable individuals. Their achievements should inspire us to action.

There will also be an opportunity to meet members of the Student Stop AIDS Campaign and to learn what motivates young campaigners in the UK.

All welcome! No need to register. Drinks and nibbles will be served after the debate.
