Imagine if our world was ...

An online community arts project by and for children and young people in Covid-19 times

Here at CIRCY we are inviting children and young people up to the age of 18 to take part in our community arts project on the theme of “Imagine if our world was…”.

We want to know your views, feelings, thoughts, hopes and ideas on this theme. Whether it be drawing or painting, making a collage or sculpture, writing a poem or short story, or any other art form – we just want you to… imagine and create!  If you decide to write, please make sure that your written creation has no more than 100 words.

Once you have created your artwork, please take a photograph of it and send it to us. If it is a poem or other writing, you can just send us the text. We will select as many pictures as possible to be displayed in an online artwork gallery. This will be a public space that you, your family and friends can look at and where you can admire your artwork and creations and that of others.

We would also like to publish some of these artworks in our Annual Report – the creator or each picture/text published will receive a £10 voucher, and there will be a £20 voucher for the image on the front page of our Annual Report.

If you take a look at last year’s report, you will see some of the pictures sent to us before on the theme of “Through my Window”.

Please take part … imagine and create!

NOTE: The closing date for submissions has now been extended to Friday 9 July 2021.

SPREAD THE WORD BY SHARING OUR POSTER WITH ANYONE YOU THINK MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN TAKING PART

NOTE: We won’t be able to include your picture in our online artwork gallery without your consent, so please make sure that you read and complete all the different sections of the form below. If you are under the age of 16, we ask that you also provide consent from your parent or guardian.
